A 6 hour trip with Captain Thomas on the REEL Fun produced this load of salmon for this group from Washington State, including a nice late season king!
Some interesting follow up on this king salmon! This king was a tagged hatchery fish with an implanted tag. I just received an email from Fish and Game with the origins of this fish! This king was born in 2012 in Whitman Lake, Alaska, and released from Herring Cove in May of 2014. A fully grown 5 year old king!
