Halibut fishing in Ketchikan Alaska June 21st 2016 with Captain Murray
This young lady had her work cut out for her trying to get this 123 Lb. Halibut off the bottom and to the boat in 300 + feet of water. As you can see she won the battle and although the Halibut was too large to keep she was very happy. Then just when you think it couldn’t get any better, bang! they hooked this large model Halibut and too won the battle but also had to release it, all and all a very good fishing trip.
Captain Murray on REEL Therapy found 2 keeper Halibut 2 p cod and 4 rock fish on his 4 hr. Halibut charter but he also had 2 nice slot fish that were released.
